Introduction
We spend the first 2 weeks of September on Nantucket Island, noted for a large variety of extremely fine restaurants. The following are our impressions this year. Two things to note: This is the END of the season and there are always some staff changes among the servers that can make service choppy. On the other hand the crowds are far less than during the summer and this should if anything improve service.
